
I received my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California. I served six years as Clinical Director of the Integrated Treatment Program for Co-Occurring Disorders at Homeless Health Care Los Angeles, a program I designed and launched in 2007. I then continued my association with HHCLA as Clinical Consultant, charged with designing, implementing and overseeing the Clinical Internship Program. I have been listed as a Subject Matter Expert in three subject areas by the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, and have been a frequent presenter on Motivational Interviewing. I served as Clinical Program Supervisor at Comprehensive Neurobehavioral Specialists. I am an alumnus of the Southern California Counseling Center Clinical Training Program, where I counseled individuals, couples, children and families. I have been a group facilitator at Milestones Ranch Malibu and West Coast Counseling Center. I provided onsite therapy to middle and high-school students in the Burbank School System through Family Service Agency of Burbank. I served as a Resource Associate at Teen Line, providing guidance to peer counselors at this teen-to-teen suicide prevention hotline located at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. I have additional training in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and Trauma-Focused CBT. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I am a Certified Career Transition Coach. I am licensed in California and Maine.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent six years on the faculty of the Juilliard School at Lincoln Center and two years as guest faculty at the North Carolina School of the Arts. I was visiting faculty at U.C.L.A., University of South Carolina, American Conservatory Theatre, and many others. I was a visiting artist at the Moscow Art Theatre Conservatory. I received a Boris Sagal Director Fellowship from the Williamstown Theater Festival, and directed over 100 productions throughout the country.
